Office of the City Clerk The Office of the City Clerk consists of the City Clerk Sonia Cuello and Administrative Coordinator Melissa Lopez. The City Clerk is appointed by the City Manager and reports to the City Manager. The City Clerk is responsible for the records of the city and also city elections. The Office of the City Clerk is the information hub for the city by being the custodian of city records and responds on a timely manner to requests for records from the public. The Office of the City Clerk, in keeping with its position of neutrality and impartiality, receives and distributes to the proper department any citizen petitions and complaints.
