"SAN LUIS TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER"
San Luis, Arizona – National Day Of Prayer At San Luis City Hall Thursday, May 2.
San Luis Councilwomen Maria Cecilia Ramos and Africa Carrasco will be acknowledging and gathering to celebrate National Day of Prayer at San Luis City Hall, 1090 E. Union Street, at 6:00PM, Thursday, May 2.
The Prayer event represents a diverse group of leaders from various churches, faiths, creeds and cultures coming together as ONE voice to pray for our nation, state, city, community and for God’s divine intervention in our daily life and concerns.
Councilwoman Maria Cecilia Ramos and Africa Carrasco, will be coordinating the event, and encourage the entire community to observe this day, as well as every day, with prayers for the challenges facing our communities and for people going through difficult circumstances.
About National Day of Prayer:
The first Thursday in May has been observed as a National Day of Prayer for the last 62 years. Each year, the president issues a proclamation acknowledging ... the importance of prayer, and inviting “all citizens ... to join me in giving thanks for the many blessings we enjoy, and to pray for guidance, grace and protection for our great nation as we address the challenges of our time.”
Gathering will take place outside of San Luis City Hall’s Main Parking Lot By The Flagpole Area.
