"SAN LUIS FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL PROMISES FUN, FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT"
San Luis, Arizona - Music entertainment, live mariachi music, and Mexican folkloric dancers will all be part of the “Festival Internacional” Block Party event brought to you by the City of San Luis, San Luis Chamber of Commerce, Coors Light, Del Sol Markets and Cocopah Casino.
The event is set for Saturday, February 6th, from 12 noon to 9 p.m. and will take place on Main Street between B and D Streets in San Luis, Arizona. The Block Party is designed to help boost sales locally, promote Main Street by attracting tourists to this area and to create an annual event for winter visitors and local residents to enjoy authentic Mexican dishes and culture.
The event will host 30 food vendors and six music groups around Main Streets festival zone, expecting crowd of 3,000-plus.
The Festival will include arts and crafts vendors, entertainment for the kids and two stages of live music groups featuring 4 Club, Legacía Norteña, Banda Sinaloense from San Luis Rio Colorado, Teoría Musical, Mariachi Popular, and Creación Norteña. Also talented Mexican dancers from Oaxaca, Hermosillo, and Baja California, Mexico; and from Los Angeles and Fresno, California.
Event organizers include City of San Luis, San Luis Chamber of Commerce, San Luis Parks & Recreation, Del Sol Market, Sol Del Valle Magazine, Food City, 25 Ayuntamiento, Casa De La Cultura S.L.R.C., Gadsden School District and the San Luis Police Department.
