"SAN LUIS HOSTS RABIES/LICENSING CLINIC FOR CATS & DOGS"
San Luis, Arizona – The Humane Society of Yuma will be offering a low-cost rabies clinic in San Luis on Saturday, February 20. The rabies clinic will be held at the Cultural Center at 1015 N. Main Street from 8 to 11 a.m.
The prices for the clinic are: Rabies $18, DA2PPCVK $15, Bordatella $10, Microchip $20, Neutered License $13, Un-Neutered License $25, Pet Tag $5 and Cat License $10.
Animal Control Officer Victor Olivares said, “It is essential that animals receive vaccinations. We encourage local residents to participate in this clinic and make sure to keep their animals under control and be sure all dogs are leashed and all cats are in carriers during the clinic”.
Prior vaccination records are required and all vaccinations will be valid for one year. A valid certificate must be signed by a U.S. licensed veterinarian and state whether your dog is altered or not. All residents are required to license their dogs and a current rabies vaccine is required to obtain a license.
