"BE THE MATCH – YUMA MOM NEEDS A DONOR!"

San Luis, Arizona - San Luis Youth Center will be hosting a special Dodgeball Tournament on Saturday, February 20th, from 2:00 p.m. 8 p.m., which will help raise money for Lizlie Nuñez, a 2004 graduate of Kofa High School, and 23 year old mom, who has been battling leukemia and is in need of a matching donor.

The event is part of the Be the Match Registry, an organization in which thousands of patients depend on the Registry to find a marrow donor who can give them a second chance at life. During the Dodgeball Tournament, registration will be taking place for those who would like to be tested and become volunteer donors.

Teams or individuals interested in participating in the Dodgeball Tournament may call the San Luis Youth Center at 928.341.8574 or email ejuarez@cityofsanluis.org.

The Tournament will take place at Joe Orduño Gym, 965 North Park Avenue.

Admission is $1. Registration is $50 per team. Players age 13+.

In addition, food and beverages will be sold during the event and all proceeds will benefit Lizlie Nuñez.

Marrow Registry
Marrow Registry will also be taking place at the San Luis Youth Center, 973 N. Park Avenue, from 10 am - 5pm.

To join the Marrow Registry, you only need to be between the ages of 18 and 60, be willing to donate to any patient in need, and meet the health guidelines.

With every $100 raised, Be the Match can add another life saving donor to the registry!
