"2010 SAN LUIS CHRISTMAS LIGHT PARADE WINNERS"
San Luis, AZ – The 2010 City of San Luis “Jingle Blast” Christmas Light Parade Winners.
The City of San Luis Parks and Recreation, Del Sol Markets, Noticias Inc., and the San Luis Chamber of Commerce held the 2nd Annual Christmas Light Parade on Saturday, December 4. The crowd estimate was approximately 5,000 for this year. There were 20 entries in this year’s parade. The winner’s are as follows:
Most Original
1st Place – San Luis High School Art’s Class, Mr. Manuel Buchanan ‘The Grinch’
2nd Place – Ed Pastor Elementary School, ‘Mickey Mouse House’
3rd Place – San Judas Tadeo Catholic Church ‘Nacimiento Viviente’
Many thanks to all the entrants for your effort and involvement and for beginning our holiday season on such a bright note. You’re ALL winners. Awards were given out during the Tree Lighting Ceremony at Joe Orduño Park, following the Christmas Lights Parade.
