San Luis Arizona –San Luis Mayor Gerardo Sanchez Prepares To Receive A Business Visit By Mayor Pro Tempore Mitch Lindemann Of Douglas, Arizona.
San Luis Mayor Gerardo Sanchez prepares to receive a two-day business visit by Mayor Pro Tempore Mitch Lindemann of Douglas, Arizona to San Luis from Thursday, November 1 through Friday, November 2.
Both Mayor Sanchez and Mayor Pro Tempore Lindemann’s goals for the visit are to continue their partnership agreement between the two border cities and to identify opportunities to enhance the business climate, continue collaborating on projects that will lead to work on funding border infrastructure, including ports of entry, transportation and other major border projects throughout Arizona and Sonora states.
"We are taking an all-star team effort here in San Luis to display our talents, experience and insight to better help maximize the opportunities and relationships that will ultimately benefit both border cities upon this weekend,” said Mayor Gerardo Sanchez.

The two-day itinerary includes a Tour of San Luis City Hall, San Luis Police Department and San Luis Fire Station and the Commercial Port of Entry SLPOE II. A Welcome Networking Reception Dinner will also take part Thursday evening in Yuma. A full-day schedule of networking on Friday includes visiting City of San Luis and Somerton. Douglas group will make their return back home Saturday morning.
