Shay Oil Company to Bring Employment Opportunities to San Luis

San Luis, Arizona — Shay Oil has been fueling Arizona since 1961 and will soon be opening a new location in the City of San Luis, Arizona bringing 15 employment opportunities to the City of San Luis.


Shay Oil Company, a locally owned and locally operated fuel and convenience store will be investing a significant amount of money to the property located at 1661 N. Main Street and is expected to be at full operation by April 2019.


The project will include a 5,397 square feet convenience store and a 6,400 square feet canopy with 16 self-service gas-pumping stations.


“We are thrilled to be opening our second Shay Oil location in the City of San Luis,” stated Mayor Gerardo Sanchez. “Most importantly we are excited to continue to bring more businesses and job opportunities to our residents,” he added.


Jim Schacklett, supervisor and representative for Shay Oil Company, Inc stated, “It is a pleasure to work with the City of San Luis on this project.”


Information on where to apply will be released closer to the completion of the project.
